One of the very last posts to reveal my last day in Miami. The weather was extremely hot and we had a couple of hours to kill before flying back to the Netherlands. We decided to spend the day shopping, eating our last burger at Shake Shack (you have to try their Shack stack!), and walking around the pretty streets of Miami. One of them was Lincoln Avenue. An avenue filled with the most beautiful hotels and resorts. When I saw this cute spot at one of the entrances of a hotel, I asked my friends to take a couple of pictures for an outfit post (my sweetest boyfriend was already in LA but my friends helped me out with the pictures!).
However, it was too hot to wear anything tight that day. A flowy skirt and a loosy top was perfect to survive the heat. My formula is to cover up when it’s very hot. Some people prefer to shed their clothes in the heat, but they keep you cool when wearing long loose clothes in natural fibres. People living in the hottest countries will often cover themselves from head to toe, which can help to shade the skin and protect the body from the sun. I love a tan, but I prefer protecting my skin for a sunburn. What do you prefer to wear when it’s really hot outside?
