Most of you have already seen this outfit on my social media pages. Aaand you liked it! Thank you for that! 🙂 It’s always a struggle to figure out what to wear to Fashion Week, a place where you see the most beautiful fashion and also most crazy combinations in fashion. I decided to go for classy and chic. A style that I adore. Very Formula Farah. The best way to represent my style and of course my blog! I found these two treasures two weeks ago on sale! Gotta love Zara! The ‘new’ (after being closed for a lifetime, the newly renovated store openened last fall) Zara in Amsterdam is ginormos, the same goes for their collection! There are so many small sizes left and that makes my sale shopping a lot easier and more fun! It’s the last week of the sale season, so if you haven’t shopped yet, make sure you do!
About the white coat, I was freezing! It was waaay too cold to wear such a coat with this weather but hey, it was Fashion Week so there are no regrets! The suffering was for a good cause :D. Another fun part, while taking these pictures, I took off my gloves. And suddenly I saw one of them flying into the water! Oh no! My bf tried to pick it up and even went to the other side of the canal to see if it ended up there. So sweet but, unfortunately, with no results. The weather wasn’t cooperating with Fashion Week at all!
Last but not least, to complete the look and make it more special, I curled my hair and wore these beautiful extensions of Luxury for Princess
Have a lovely day!
As you’ve seen on my social media accounts, I went to two shows during the 2014 Amsterdam Fashion Week yesterday! It’s always such a great experience to see all those beautiful designs and creations on the runway worn by those super duper beautiful models! It’s a place where I get so much inspiration. And it’s not just the models, it’s also the people attending the shows who look stunning! It makes my mind go wild and it makes me wanna design and make my own clothing. I wish I had awesome sewing skills!
I tried to get some nice shots and I hope you like them! I really wanted to share a bit of the feeling and atmosphere of Fashion Week!
, the French/Dutch designer duo knows how to draw all
the attention! The show was absolutely spectacular! It was all about faux fur, feathers, prints, metallics, crazy sweaters, and so on. It was BIG! They know how to stand out. This show definitely exceeded every fantasy!
I will show you the second fashion report tomorrow!
Monki coat // Mango legging // Vanilia blouse // Zara boots // River Island beanie
Well, what can I say? Hello to something new on Formula Farah! I see a style changing! “Do I see some grunge street style?” Yes, you do! It began with Converse
and now it’s even grunge! Haha, I think that heels and dresses will always be my number one, but I’m welcoming some changes and a new style. It’s good to change once in a while and to be open for new stuff. Still have to get a pair of sneakers to complete my story of change.
So, I’m very curious! Do you like this look/style on me? Let me know!
Stay tuned for a whole nother Formula Farah on the blog! It’s all about changes in style!
And details. Of course.
Yesterday was the so called blue Monday. I felt it as well! So I myself an appointment for a session of retail therapy. It always makes me feel better and there is no better way to get a lot of inspiration! I have a lot of important exams coming up so every little prayer by you guys will help me! Fingers crossed..

Hope you’re having a great weekend! I had some pancakes this morning…nomnomnom…the best way to start a lazy Sunday, wouldn’t you agree?! And the best part is, the love made them while I was getting ready for an outfit shoot! The weather today is so perfect! These are just the most wonderful winter days: quiet, peaceful combined with some sunbeams on the cheeks.
This is my outfit I wore last week for a day of shopping in Antwerp! I bought my very first Converse All Stars in New York a while back! Never thought I would, one day, wear black All Stars. It’s quite funny how your personal style changes over time. For me it meant that I’m more open for shoes without heels, among other things, haha :). One thing is for sure: I feel like I’m flying in these shoes. I can imagine that people wear them all the time. So this was the perfect outfit for a day of hectic shopping in Antwerp. Loose fit, easy going and all black is always a good idea.
Have a wonderful day!
PS. I saw the coat I’m wearing at the H&M stores with 50 % off! Which means only 75 euros! Go for it!

As you all know, I loveeee the sale season! But my wallet doesnt, that’s for sure haha :). Not only my wallet, my time schedule isn’t happy with it as well. I can scroll around for hours on webshops in the hopes of finding some treasures. For the first time in quite a while, actually, I wanted to share my favourite sale items with you guys! Some of these are high on my wish list ( I just have to order that COS sheer top and what about that long blue coat?!) and I hope you enjoy my sale finds too!
P.S. Can you figure out the brand just from looking at them? 😉

After all those sweets we had the last few weeks, it was time to not eat
something sweet, but to dress
sweet(ly). Sweet as a girl. As sweet as pink. Just sweet. 🙂 This H&M scuba skirt
is the cutest item I’ve ever worn. To make the cuteness hit the over-the-top button, I combined it with a soft pink sweater, from H&M as well. H&M has been a good
to this girl!
Pink and grey are a common color combination that always works. Thinking about that, I realize that my very first post on my blog was with this color combination! Both of the grey items are vintage and I got them for just a couple of euros. That’s sweet as well huh ;).
And I got them in Antwerp! Antwerp is the place to get your hands on some beautiful vintage items. And somehow it’s less expensive than in the Netherlands. Like I told you in my previous post, I was in Antwerp last Friday. These items aren’t buys from last Friday, but I can tell you that I succeeded big time in my last shopping spree with my love! What I didn’t know (*shame on me*), was that it was the very first day of the season sale in Belgium. And I have never seen the city so crowded (the sale period is strictly regulated over there, so everyone went all out the first day)!! It was hectic! But shopping-lovers, I really recommend spending a day in Antwerp! The shops are bigger, really diverse and the sale is better ;). Plus the streets are like wider than in Amsterdam and the shopping area is spread out, so you have enough space to maneuver your shopping bags between your fellow shoppers. I will show you my spoils on the blog very soon!
Read all about my perfect and dreamy outfit for Amsterdam Fashion Week behind the door…
As a little girl I danced the days away, dreaming about becoming a princess one day and wearing the most beautiful dresses…
…Making plans and dreams with my best friend on how to conquer the world of fashion and find a little spot in a big world of beauty…
…Wrapped in yards of the most beautiful tulle, I dream about designing my own perfect tulle skirt for the red carpet at Amsterdam Fashion Week…
…Drawing sketches of the perfect tulle skirt that I’ll be wearing – one day, at Amsterdam Fashion Week…
…It isn’t easy to make or find the perfect tulle skirt..that’s because I want it to be perfect all the way. I want the fabric to shine, just as I will shine while wearing my perfect tulle skirt at Amsterdam Fashion Week…
…And that drives me crazy sometimes, turning me upside down! However….
…I found it! The bigger the better, lifting it up to the max, ’cause that’s the goal you have to reach for. And now all that’s left is…
..packing for fashion week! That will be the easiest thing as I’ll be wearing my ultimate maxi tulle skirt. Even if it gets to the point where the skirt makes it hard to switch gears, it will all be worth it.
And these are the items that will complete the look, the perfect look for Amsterdam Fashion Week! It’s about making the look classy, feminine, sophisticated and above all, elegant. Pearls and crystals are my secret…*shhhh*
It all began with a little girl’s dream. Touching, feeling, and talking fashion. And what would be a better place than the place where all of that comes together? It’s called the paradise of Fashion Week – Amsterdam Fashion Week. I used to be that little girl. The little girl who was dancing the days away and always in the search for the right tulle skirt for that one special moment. The moment that she would wear it at Amsterdam Fashion Week. Not to forget that her favorite color back in the days was pink. But now, as a grown woman, she remembers and honors that time by incorporating the color in beautiful and classy pink items covered with pearls and crystals…
Dear Fashion Chick, you can make the dream of this little girl become reality!

I hope you had an amazing NYE and spend the international hang over day very well! I spend NYE with the boy until the clock turned 00:00 after which I went to a party with my girls! It wasn’t the most successful party we have ever been but hey, in the end it’s about the people you’re with! After all, it was an unforgettable NYE, in many ways haha! It’s time for a new year and that means new challenges. Blogging is still what I love to do and I hope to make it even a better blog-year! About the studies, things will change. I will be a bigger nerd than I’ve ever been. From the beginning of February, I will start my masters in law next to my bachelor in dentistry. It will be a hectic year but it’s something that was on my ‘wishlist’ for a while and it’s time! So this year will be about studying more than ever. Therefore it’s so important to have something else in life in which you can express all your creativity. My blog is my little baby that helps me with that! Fashion is my main way to get away from studying and I don’t feel guilty about that haha 🙂
The hectic holiday season is over…but that means hectic times in #fashion! Sales are everywhere at the moment, online aaaand offline! So that can only mean one thing: shoppingggg!!! (the ones who have seen White Chicks know what I’m talking about ;)) So that’s exactly what I’m doing right now, as you’re reading this. Shopping with the boy in Antwerp! Something we do every year! Feels like a mini holiday :).
The first outfit of the year contains the first sale item of the year! This fluffy sweater from New Look was just 12 euro’s (just bought it). Have you noticed that I just wanna buy everything that’s fluffy? Can’t help it, when it’s so fluffy I feel those little butterflies in my belly. Oh, and the other thing that gives me butterflies is the beanie that my love gave me as a warm present for these cold days.
