Hi sweethearts,
This Indian summer has been taking it to very high levels of happiness these last couple of days. It’s like living in a dream. It’s September and I can still walk bare legged and wear dresses. On one hand it’s amazing, on the other hand, it’s scary to see the effects of global warming. Well…that’s a whole other topic I guess.

But, this Indian summer in Amsterdam is a great gift. Yesterday, I was invited by Scheckter’s to join them on a boat where Stef Classens, the winner of the Dutch show ‘Best singer/songwriter’, serenaded us. Scheckter’s is an organic energy drink with non-articfial caffeine and without taurine. I only drink energy drinks right before I have an exam to be sure that I’m really focused. Love to know now that there is a better and healthier version on the market. And almost forgot to say: available at Albert Heijn! 😉
Let’s continue our bare-legs-talk. I was so happy to be able to wear this look in September! The shorts and the top are from this Dutch brand Lofty Manner, which I recently discovered. I love the colors, especially against the yellow/green background of the trees in this fall. While flower prints are usually worn in the spring and summer periods, the flowers on this top are perfect for periods outside of spring and summer. And I made the colors of flowers pop even more by adding my red pumps and my red little purse (which I got on a market during my Indonesia travels a year ago! Ah, memories…). And to keep me warm after the sun waved goodbye and the moon says hello, I have this fluffy and soft black cardigan. Perfect!
So what are you up to during these lovely warm days?
Love,
Farah
