Oh I was so overwhelmed by all your likes on this picture on my Facebook page & Instagram page. Just as you loved the picture, I loved my stay in Paris. Last weekend, I traveled with my bestie to Paris by car to celebrate her birthday in Paris and to have a good time! Like I said before: Paris is always a good idea. And it’s even better when you’re stay is more than lovely. A cosy hotel named Hotel Duo, right in the middle of the Le Marais area, made our trip complete. It’s was like shopping in a boutique: tiny but good. The atmosphere was lovely and, even more important, the staff was very friendly. The area around the hotel was perfect. It’s located just a couple of minutes away from the Notre Dam and for the shop-aholics among us: the BHV, a big shopping mall, is literally around the corner. Also, the subway and more public transport connections were nearby. It couldn’t be easier to get around.
The hotel itself was beautifully decorated. They mimicked a green environment, you can see that from this beautiful view from my window. A vertical garden is hidden in the complex. In the same beautiful area on the ground floor, we had breakfast in the morning. And a power breakfast it was, for sure. I love an elaborate brakfast. In this case, it wasn’t a buffet but the menu had a lot of choices of different kinds of breakfast. And it included a basket full of petit pains, we got some scrambled eggs, sweet toppings, cheese, a fruitsalad and fresh orange juice. I had enough food to survive the whole day! Which literally was the only thing we had ’cause we didn’t have lunch anymore. Gotta love those kinds of breakfasts since you never have them at home. At least, I do not. Haha. Well, I told you so: Paris is always a good idea, even if it was just for the breakfast served at Hotel Duo.
Many thanks again to Hotel Duo & Snaptraveller for our lovely stay in Paris! I recommend you all to note this hotel in your notebooks cause you won’t be disappointed, I can assure you!
PS: I’m wearing an total Mango look with River Island black heels & a Hermes bag I fell in love with, but is a price possession of the sweetest Julienne, a friend of Annisa’s who joined us the weekend in Paris and is a former employee of Hermes. Not jealous haha :D.
