Hope you’re having a great weekend! I spent time with my parents yesterday and today I will be working on the new design all day! Not the typical Sunday but it’s so worth it! Work hard, play hard right ;).
I already showed you a sneak peek of my new leather Converse! So happy with them! Especially since they are very hard to find in the Netherlands. So I asked the boyfriend to bring them for me from New York!
Oh hi there, welcome in my shoe closet! I didn’t own a pair of you guys yet, so you’re the very first!
A well-known problem to all women worldwide: your partner’s sock drawer that exists of pairs that are randomly put together and just do not match. Does this sound familiar to you? And does this bother you? Well…it shouldn’t! It’s cool to mix and combine socks, it really is! BUT, then again, you
When it comes to new shoes, I love to take details shots of them. Especially when they have so many details. I still didn’t own a pair of gladiator heels and these ones with golden heels stole my feet! 🙂
It’s Friday again! I had such a busy week studying, but I also had some fun things scheduled!
Tonight is a party night! First, we’re gonna celebrate the birthday of fellow blogger Nathalie at Bazaar (a 1001 Arabian nights styled restaurant in De Pijp) with a lot of blogger babes! Afterwards, I’m going to dance my feet off with a bunch of friends! You all know how difficult it is to collect all the cool people around you for a party, but we managed!
After a little bit of sleep, I’m going to attend two events tomorrow! First, I have an event at one of my favorite places to eat: Vapiano! I will learn to make my own pasta, whaah! (my bestie, a fabulous cook, is so jealous about this, haha!). I’m so curious!
Afterwards, I have to hurry to Rotterdam to a BIG Q&A event by Ilovefashionbloggers
! There are still a few tickets left! Make sure to get one as you get to know so many other bloggers and you get to see Negin Mirsalehi, Linda Tol
& Yara Michiels
! Holland’s biggest bloggers! All your questions about blogging can be answered! Oh and have I told you that you will get a big ass goodie bag
yet? Many reasons to come! I would love to see you there as well!
Ok, after a lot of chitchatting
let’s get to the point, hihi. Remember that I went to the Tommy Hilfiger sample sale
a couple of weeks ago? I showed you a picture on Instagram
with a few huge shopping bags! And I said: it’s wasn’t me
! That was very true haha! I only bought two pairs of classic ballerina’s. All the rest was my love
who succeeded so well! Do you like ballerinas as well and what do you think about these?
How are you doing today? I’m recovering from yesterday’s fun! First, I went to Unlimited PR’s event, where we got a presentation by the sweetest Yara of Chapter Friday (you must know her from ‘This Chick’s Got Style’!). After that, I went to a pop up store of the brand Ani Ani and they just have the most beautiful beachwear. I’ve chosen a very pretty one! Will show you more on the blog soon! 🙂 Well, then I went for a Persian dinner with my love and my day ended by laughing my ass off with comedian Maz Jobrani! And I saw a lot of people I haven’t seen in ages which was so nice! It was a busy and a lovely day!
Today, I wanted to give you a closer look of these new pair of shoes, which are my favorites at the moment! It’s difficult to show you the pretty details on outfit photos and this pair of shoes just deserve a bit more attention! The golden soles makes them so special en do you also see the golden details on the heels? Very handy since the white part of the heels is more protected that way! (We all know how annoying it is that we get stuck with these heels so often!)
Well..those who know the brand Ted Baker know that they always pay attention to the little details. I love them! They are also available in two other colors (here).
Let me know what you think about the golden soles!

Find out about my perfect Kingsday outfit after the jump!
It’s almost that time of the year again: when The Netherlands turn into one big party and the crowd is dressed in orange and/or red, blue and white (i.e. the colors of the Dutch flag). I can actually say that it’s one of my favorite days of the year. I always make sure that I’m not away on a holiday! And for all my readers who are not from the Netherlands, you just have to visit Amsterdam on Kingsday to feel the incredible atmosphere and party with all the other thousands of people!
I always love to dress up in the Kingsdag-theme. Orange, red, blue & white are the main colors to mix & match with.
This year, I’ve chosen a classy look with an orange & blue pop of color in this beautiful jumpsuit. Combined with these beautiful white shoes of Ted Baker with a golden sole, which gives it a royal and clean touch. And what about the triple colored bag? Doesn’t it match perfectly with the rest of the look?
To be able to make this perfect match I shopped at Zalando! The perfect place where you have a huge choice and can filter very easily on colors, brands, products and sizes! What do you want more? 🙂 You can’t blame me for loving this as they make the mixing & matching very easy and fun right? 😉
What will you be wearing on Kingsday? Well..I got a little something special for you guys! Head over to this page where you can combine YOUR perfect Zalando Kingsday outfit! BUT! I’m not finished yet! It get’s even better! You can WIN your outfit of 250 euros! How cool would that be?! Don’t wait any longer and start creating your outfit HERE!
What I’m wearing
A quick post while studying and preparing a photo diary of last week! I will publish this one tonight! <3
I’m in love with my new bag that I recently got from the webshop Paris2day
. It’s so handy since it has multiple compartments aaand the inside lining is red! Makes it look very chic :).
Enjoy your day and I can’t wait to show you the photo diary of last week!

Sandals: New Look
Hope y’all are enjoying your weekend! Yesterday, I started my weekend with new episodes of The Walking Dead (aaaah soooo addictive and thrilling!) while enjoying a cheese platter with my love. I adore cheese, it’s a happy meal for me! We recently discovered a new type that is one of our favorites now, called Saint Felicien. If you’re a cheese lover, you HAVE to try this one!
Today, I wore a total white look for a very special shoot! Amsterdam has so many beautiful spots and I love to explore new places and to enjoy drinks and bites at different places. The ones who follow me on my social media pages (Facebook
) probably have seen the beautiful cafe at the EYE in Amsterdam! Whether it’s the architecture, watching a movie or simply enjoying a drink or a meal, it’s a hotspot in Amsterdam you can’t miss!
Now something about the outfit of last Tuesday! I felt so Pocahontas in this outfit, she’s one of my favorite Disney icons! If I would have had red hair, I would like to look like Ariel. Who doesn’t?! But in my case, Pocahontas is easier to look like hihi :).
Last week, I received this beautiful scarf
and these boots
. Easy to combine and not much more is needed for a bohemian look. Well, maybe a messy braid ;). While drinking a hot chocolate on Dam Square in the Hot Chocolate Company (next to the Nieuwe Kerk) , I felt home in this outfit on that bench.
Hope you like it! Get your own bohemian look here
! Happy weekend!
What I’m wearing:
Tommy Hilfiger coat & jeans
Where shall I start…
…ladylike with a hat and emerald green shades…yet tough with the leather jacket and high ass heels. Oh, and very Formula Farah
by paying attention to matchy-matchy items ;). Like I’ve mentioned before, it’s all about the details! I was so lucky with this necklace I found on sale at River Island a while ago (see here
)! It matches perfectly with one of my favorite pair of jeans. To make the look more versatile, I decided to wear this new top (also on sale, yeah baby!)
of Zara. It was just 16 euros and sooo pretty! Since it was too cold, I didn’t dare to take off my jacket completely, but I will definitely wear this top more often and will not forget to show you the pretty linings! Good basics are the best. That’s a tip for all of you. And lots of pretty shoes 🙂
Oh, and lipstick :D.
What I’m wearing
H&M leather jacket & hat (now in stores in the color grey ;))
River Island necklace
Charles & Keith bag
Did you enjoy your weekend? I hope so! I canceled everything and spent the whole weekend at my parents’ place. I tried to get some rest and make sure that I will be completely fit for a new start. Being sick is no fun :(. But I always think that it’s very important to think that you’re not sick. It works for me! I feel much better when I do :). But sometimes my body gives me a sign that I just can’t ignore.
Remember I showed you my some pretty basics I ordered at Mango a while ago? Very happy with this new blouse in my wardrobe! Pinstripes are very trending and I believe that pinstripes are always trending! I combined this blouse with a new pair of Zara trousers! High waisted, dark blue with leather details. The loose fit makes it also very suitable to wear it in spring or summer. Ok, I can also just say that my knees turn to mush by the first sight of Zara’s new collection hihi :).
What I’m wearing:
Pieces boots (via Sans-online)
Charles & Keith bag
Stay tuned for a whole nother Formula Farah on the blog! It’s all about changes in style!
And details. Of course.
Yesterday was the so called blue Monday. I felt it as well! So I myself an appointment for a session of retail therapy. It always makes me feel better and there is no better way to get a lot of inspiration! I have a lot of important exams coming up so every little prayer by you guys will help me! Fingers crossed..
Have you already checked out the Mango sale

The belly’s are stuffed: it’s after-Christmas time. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with your family and your loved ones. I had a lovely time with the family and ended the third Christmas dinner with a Persian one at my parents’ place. Gotta love Persian food! But…Time to get ready for Yew Years Eve!
Getting ready for New Year’s Eve all starts with finding the
dress. But not just a normal one. No, it has to be glamorous, outstanding, extraordinary and so on.
Am I right ladies? It’s a struggle right? Well, not anymore! I found you your New Years Eve dress! This long sleeved (very handy for these cold days!) shiny dress covered in thousands of sequins is the dress
to turn your head for. Literally, ’cause this time it’s when others notice the low back (read: it’s then when others will gaze at you:D)
. It’s elegant and sexy at the same time. I combined it with a golden clutch and golden bracelets to make the party look complete (it has to be gold baby!). And again, those ‘you’re so perfect’
hair extensions from Luxury for Princess
! I’m hooked, just like the love I have to dresses and heels. No more words are needed! Says enough:)
Get your dress HERE
to shine on New Years Eve! (P.S. if you order it on Monday the latest, you’ll have it in time for NYE!)
It’s weeeekend! Do you have crazy plans? I’m counting the days that my boyfriend, Diederik, will be back again! He’s coming back on Monday and I can’t wait! It’s like the feeling when you were a kid and when you were counting the days until your birthday. So glad he will be by my side again. Celebrating the holidays together and enjoying the Christmas vibes in town. Amsterdam is so pretty at the moment. Christmas vibes everywhere!
Last week, I visited the sample sale of Hunkemöller. I didn’t expect that there would also be clothing, though. This is where I got myself this blue faux fur from Rino & Pello. I hesitated for a while but in the end I bought it and I haven’t regretted it so far! Do you like it? It’s a statement piece and something that you either like or dislike. Since it was on a sample sale I tried to find it on the web and I did! Click here!
A few weeks ago I met the beautiful fashionblogger Vivian of By VH at a meeting of Ilovefashionbloggers. She does a lot of photography herself as well, which resulted in a shoot we did together last week! I love the results! Thank you babe!
Oh! And what do you think of the boots in action? 😀 😉
Have a great great weekend!
Hope you’re all doing well! After a week of exams this week is filled with a lot of blogger and press events
and things to do on that endless to-do-list.
Monday, the first day of the week. Not my most favorite day of the week. I decided to use it make the most out of it and got up early and spent the whole day with my bestie to work on new ideas/designs for the blog as I told you here. With that said, I wanted to dress up nicely. I actually believe that dressing up will always make you feel better resulting in better results in anything you’re doing at that moment in your life.
It’s raining sample sales lately, and last weekend I went to the Vanilia sample sale with my mommy, bestie and her mommy and sister. The Vanilia sample sale is definitely one of my most favorite sample sales since I love their clothes and I always succeed in buying beautiful, good quality items.
Such as this dress. A beautiful dress that for your Christmas dinner with your family (and/or in-laws) and for NYE with your friends. It also works for just a day working on the blog at the Starbucks and chillings afterwards at one of Amsterdam’s skylounge of the Double Tree Hilton Hotel. A hotspot in Amsterdam! Why not? Throw your own party every day!
Topped the outfit off with this beautiful necklace I, recently, got from Style Headquarters
. I don’t have to tell you any more about my love for statement necklaces! Speaking about that, yesterday I visited the press event of the new Spring/Summer 2014 collection of Swarovski. A blogpost about that will follow soon! Be ready for some drooling 😉 :).
The accessories section of River Island is just next to the shoes. How can one miss it? This bow was winking at me from far away! I couldn’t resist. It makes your hair look cute and being cute is always a good idea, non?
River Island Black leather-look hair bow (here)
Figuring that these are my fourth(!) new pair of shoes this month, you probably wonder where in the world I keep them. Well, just like a lot of people: in my hallway. Only issue is, I can’t open my front door properly anymore! I’ve got so (/too) many now! A little while back, my closet was featured on the website I Love Fashion News
, and I showed
a little bit of my shoe collection. What you don’t see on the photo is that the entire floor is covered with shoes as well!
Anyways, that doesn’t stop me from expanding my collection though! Here’s a (another) new pair of boots that I can be worn everyday to survive the cold Dutch winter – in style.
At the moment, I’m at the Starbucks at the Double Tree Hilton hotel, brainstorming about Formula Farah 2.0 with my bestie! If you have any ideas and/or suggestions, please let me know! I would love to hear about them and incorporate them to my blog. Comment me on Facebook
or just leave a message down here! Thanks so much, really appreciate it!

It’s the weekend! Hope you have lots of great plans! I had two exams last week and I’m sort of exhausted because of all the studying and practicing. The ones who follow me on Instagram
must have seen that I went to the Hunkemöller Sample Sale after my exam! Well, shopping was well deserved right 😀 Oeh! I also bought another faux fur
coat! Can’t wait to show it to you!
To the ones who have no plans for today, it’s at the Borchlandweg in Amsterdam! I can recommend it to everyone! There are lot of sample sales going on lately. Tomorrow, I’m going to the Vanilia Sample Sale, definitely one of my favorites! It’s gonna be a double date with my mother and my bestie who is also bringing her mother. I announce the sample sales on my Facebook, so if you’d like to be updated, make sure you’re following me on my Facebook page
! Last week, I reached the 1000 likes mark on Facebook! A milestone. Thank you so much, again, for all of your support!
About the outfit! Still going strong with my New York City outfits! It’s almost time again for some bad weather in the Netherlands outfits :(. The Brooklyn Bridge is a stunning place to shoot outfit pictures and have a romantic walk. I’m wearing a complete Forever21 outfit! When I told you about the boots yesterday (here)
that wasn’t the only thing I got in that store! I cannot wait for Forever 21 to open in Amsterdam soon! The color pink is all over the place and I adore it. Still haven’t bought a pink coat but a pink knit will do for a while! 🙂 Combined it with a cute dress full of flowers and of course, with the beloved overknee boots. Also, I’m wearing this new cute beanie with a flower and some veil to make the total look less girly. I’m totally in love with the beanie-with-veil trend! I’m about to make myself one!
Have you ever been to New York and what was your favorite place?
Have a great weekend!
