Outfit || A Berliner Hipster

april 9, 2014

Hi lovelies!

When I’m traveling, I always want to integrate with the people/county I visit. One of the things I loved so much about the Berliners is their sense of fashion! Vintage galore! I styled most of my outfits to feel like a hipster in Berlin and become one of them instead of a tourist walking/cycling around with a map haha
I totally felt a Berliner in this outfit. First of all, the ones who follow me on my social media channels (Facebook/Instagram/Twitter) must have seen the pictures of me ripping my jeans in the middle of the night with the help of my kitchen scissors. Not the most ideal scissor to cut jeans, but hey, that’s what creativity is about right?! I was always scared to rip my jeans by myself, but with this old pair I didn’t care at all! A small cut on the knees (where you want it to be ripped) is all you have to do! After that, get into the jeans and get into the crouching position. The jeans will rip automatically and that what makes it look natural! That’s the trick! And of course, the cut will get bigger in time, but that shouldn’t be a problem! 😉 Going to Berlin made me want to bring a pair of ripped jeans so badly that I just did it! And now I love it, so someone has to stop me from demolishing ALL my jeans, hihi!
Secondly! I couldn’t be happier with this vintage find! How cool is this bag?! I can actually use it for my weekend trips. Berlin is theplace to find vintage treasures. It sure was for me! I had to stop myself from buying a lot of stuff, but I couldn’t ignore this one. I can even use it to decorate my place! To get the total hipster look, my vintage sweater couldn’t miss out! I love this outfit I must say! Hipster all over, am I Berliner enough or what? 😉

Have you ripped your jeans as well and what do you think of this trend?
I would love to know!

Love, Farah

Hi lovelies!
I think I have to switch the photo diary from Sunday to Monday! Hope you guys don’t mind!
The first collage consists photos from my Berlin travels! Aah can’t believe I’m already back for a week!

1. Taking my converse for a stroll at Mauerpark! You should definitely visit Mauerpark on Sunday when you’re in Berlin!

2. BBQ at the Tempelhof Airport in Berlin! Airport?! YES! I will show you an epic outfit shoot soon! Lots of history here, make sure to check it out!

3. Shopping day in Berlin! Brought my newest vintage find that I discovered at the vintage market at  Mauerpark!

4. When we get hangry 😉 (can you guess which two words are combined in that one?)

5. KaDeWe, where I visited the Chanel shop and ‘tested’ the Chanel Boy Bag. Oh boy..

6. Spending the night with my bestie on the evening I came back from Berlin with those delicious chocolate covered strawberries. And cheese snacks! Treat yo’ self huh 😉 Nomnomnom!

1. On Wednesday, it was time for some action again! Had some meetings and brought cutest dress ever home! Aaah can’t wait to show it to you!

2. Coming home to packages, especially these beautiful ones can make me happy as a child on Christmas day!

3. Sneak peek of the dress! It’s for a special occasion! Stay tuned!!

4. Bought my love a chocolate bar with the text ‘Ik vind je lief’/’I like you’.  He kept the heart for me. How sweet and cheesy! :p

5. What do you think of these sandals? I liked them but didn’t buy them (yet :p)!

6. After the annual international pillow fight in Amsterdam on Dam Square! I didn’t fight myself though 😉

Alright sweeties! Hope you enjoyed the photo diary!!
Love to hear about your weekend. So tell me please ;).

Outfit || Backpackin’ Berlin

april 5, 2014

Hi dearies!
I’m back in the Netherlands again! Time flies! I had a great great time with some lovely company and weather was incredible! Berlin is such a great city! I couldn’t ask for more, honestly. We biked about 75 kilometers and I actually have the feeling that I saw every part of the city! (Probably not, but it did feel that way :p). Biking is such an ideal way of transportation. Easy, fast and it’s good for your health! I have to admit, though, that there aren’t that many hills in that city. If that would have been the case, it would be a whole other story of course.

Berlin has a true history with deep wounds and being in this city makes you realize over and over again that we have to embrace our freedom. Discussing history on a fashion blog might not be the ideal spot to do it, but sometimes it’s good to share your thoughts and feelings.

I love the way the people, and especially the guys, dress themselves. They put a lot of effort in it and I’m not used to that in the Netherlands (sorry guys :p). To be a little hipster as well, I brought the coolest backpack I ever for this trip! This beauty made of soft leather joined me the whole trip and was a very good buddy, since I’m not used to the fact that you can put so much stuff in it! Well, made the boy happy as well since he didn’t have to carry everything, haha!

BUT! Not only this backpack is cool, what about those awesome leather pants I showed you earlier on social media?! You guys absolutely LOVED it! Well, so do I! I’m totally hooked and they fit perfectly! You must recognize the problem with pants, ’cause there just always something with them that you just don’t like (even hate). Well, this one hasn’t! I’m even considering to get another one since I’m already afraid for the day that it will get damaged! I shared the link on my Facebook page earlier for the ones who asked for it but in case you missed it, you can get a pair of your own here!
Have a lovely day!

Love, Farah

Outfit || Summer Reminiscing

december 12, 2013

 We’re way into December and the Dutch have had their first festivities all done. Now, we’re all heading into Christmas and New Year’s Eve! Can’t wait! Here in the Netherlands, we have a two week break from school/uni for Christmas and New Year’s. Lots of people take this break as an opportunity to either get to an even colder place to enjoy some skiing and snowboarding, or people ditch the cold and go to a place where it’s warm and sunny. For me, as I don’t have any plans to go to a warmer or colder place, it’s time to reminisce about last summer.
As I’ve shown you before, I went to Singapore and Indonesia last summer. I shot several outfits in Indonesia: one on Samosir Island, Sumatra, at the Prambanan and Borobudur temples, and one other outfit on the Gili Islands. However, I still have a few other outfits that I haven’t shown you yet!
Beaches, clear blue waters, a burning sun…
So how about it, wanna go reminisce with me?

Outfit || Falling Pink

november 23, 2013

Hi lovelies!
It’s the weekend! Hope you have lots of great plans! I had two exams last week and I’m sort of exhausted because of all the studying and practicing. The ones who follow me on Instagram must have seen that I went to the Hunkemöller Sample Sale after my exam! Well, shopping was well deserved right 😀 Oeh! I also bought another faux fur coat! Can’t wait to show it to you!
To the ones who have no plans for today, it’s at the Borchlandweg in Amsterdam! I can recommend it to everyone! There are lot of sample sales going on lately. Tomorrow, I’m going to the Vanilia Sample Sale, definitely one of my favorites! It’s gonna be a double date with my mother and my bestie who is also bringing her mother. I announce the sample sales on my Facebook, so if you’d like to be updated, make sure you’re following me on my Facebook page! Last week, I reached the 1000 likes mark on Facebook! A milestone. Thank you so much, again, for all of your support!
About the outfit! Still going strong with my New York City outfits! It’s almost time again for some bad weather in the Netherlands outfits :(. The Brooklyn Bridge is a stunning place to shoot outfit pictures and have a romantic walk.  I’m wearing a complete Forever21 outfit! When I told you about the boots yesterday (here) that wasn’t the only thing I got in that store! I cannot wait for Forever 21 to open in Amsterdam soon! The color pink is all over the place and I adore it. Still haven’t bought a pink coat but a pink knit will do for a while! 🙂 Combined it with a cute dress full of flowers and of course, with the beloved overknee boots.  Also, I’m wearing this new cute beanie with a flower and some veil to make the total look less girly. I’m totally in love with the beanie-with-veil trend! I’m about to make myself one!
Have you ever been to New York and what was your favorite place?
Have a great weekend!
Love, Farah

Hi lovelies!
After surviving another Monday it always gets better right? 😀 This week is an hectic week for me with my two upcoming exams. Seeing these outfits and reminiscing about New York helps me get through it though!

I seriously didn’t have any time to shoot outfits after I got back to Holland, but hopefully you will be satisfied with some sunny and bright outfit pictures straight from the Big Apple!

The most common way to get around and travel from Brooklyn to Manhattan is of course by subway. But..think bigger! There is also a ferry that takes you to the other site of this beautiful city! The trip across the water is totally worth it! It didn’t take long, so no worries about getting seasick!
Now, let’s talk about the outfit! I’ve already showed you the new beautiful ankle boots (here) I got from the webshop Sans-online from the brand Pieces! While browsing the web in search of new inspiration and buys, I saw these beauties and even without having them yet, I already thought of many outfits I could wear with them! Perfect for Christmas and/or NYE. Shiny and they look like a piece of art don’t they ;)?
For this look, I combined them with an oh so comfy and fluffy knit from Shoeby and a skirt from the current Zara collection. This a-symmetric skirt is the perfect basic item to combine with a huge knit during these fall days. Just the way I love it, as you can see!
Love, Farah

PS. I would like to share a very cool competition by Gaastra with you guys! By uploading a nautical inspired picture on their facebookpage you can win the designer Choice Award aaaaaand a clothing check of 1000 euros! You can be the inspiration for their new collection! Don’t wait and upload your picture here!

Outfit || Body Language

november 15, 2013

 Zara dress (similar) // Maidenform Shapewear // Pedro heels

Hi lovelies!
It’s so strange to see a bare legged outfit in November right? But let me tell you a secret. The weather in New York was strange: on one day it was 20+ degrees and the next the temperature could decrease down to 10 degrees! Crazy! So I walked bare legged and I walked around feeling very cold! That’s strange isn’t it ;).
This dress. Those colors. Those flowers. It’s called perfection for an outfit for those warm autumn days. The length and the turtleneck make it perfect for fall, whereas it’s not really suitable for summer.
This dress is speaking body language to the max. I think I have never worn a dress as tight as this one. Sometimes it’s good to step out of your comfort zone and be proud of your curves!
A while ago, I got the opportunity to try out Maidenform shape wear. I had never worn/used shape wear before but it was a great discovery after wearing it with this dress. First of all, the fabric is very luxurious. It’s seamless and very soft. But most importantly, it’s comfortable. There is no extreme compression but it’s all about toning. After wearing this I couldn’t believe I never wore it before. I think that every woman should own one of these shape wear dresses. No matter how fit you are, it boosts your confidence and charisma that make every tight dress you’re wearing even more sexy.
Love, Farah
PS. You have to try the delicious cakes of the Magnolia Bakery (those who have watched Sex and the City know what I’m talking about:)! Believe me, wear your Maidenform shapewear and there is no guilty feeling at all hihi 🙂

Outfit || PLAID

november 9, 2013
 Topshop plaid suit // Pedro heels // Pazzion bag

Hellooooo weekend!!
Do you have crazy plans? Going to the EMA’s tomorrow?! I wish I could! Unfortunately, that’s not the case hihi. I will have to work and going to visit my parents again!

As I promised and told you before, I still have some outfit shoots from NYC that I’m dying to show you. This is also quite handy at the moment, since I didn’t have the time to shoot my outfits this week! The last three days were hectic. Visited the launch of the new issue of Fall Magazine, went to a pressday and I had a meeting with Ilovefashionbloggers and other bloggers. Will tell you more about that soon! Stay tuned! 🙂
Yesterday, evening I suprised my bestie with her birthday by collecting all her friends at a restaurant. That was a good beginning of the weekend, I’ll say! Guess I like to suprise the people I love! I had a suprise party myself as well last year and I enjoyed it so much!
Let’s talk about the outfit and of course….NEW YORK! First of all, thank you for all the sweet messages on my social media accounts! Many of you liked this plaid suit! Can’t blame you! I got so many compliments on the streets in NYC as well! ‘You wear that plaid well lady’, was the sweetest comment by an old woman standing in the Starbucks.
On that day, my boyfriend took me to the bakery where they bake the best cookies in town! A hotspot I recommend everyone anytime you’re in NYC. The cookies of Levain Bakery in Manhattan. The biggest cookie I have ever had. So big, that I couldn’t even finish half of it. But hey, sharing is caring right 😀 my boyfriend didn’t mind that at all haha!
Enjoy your weekend lovelies and don’t forget to leave a comment since I accidently deleted 100 of your lovely comments last week. 🙁

Outfit || DARK ANGEL in NYC

november 4, 2013
Topshop skirt // Sans-online boots // Vanilia top

Hi lovelies!
Hope you had a blast this weekend! I had a blast for sure! Last Saturday, we had a Halloween party at the Brooklyn apartment. It was my first American house party ever, which included punch, rummy bears (gummy bears soaked in rum),  funny (and/or sexy) Halloween outfits and playing games (beer pong, flip cup and such). You Americans are so funny haha! 🙂
It was my first Halloween in the States ever, so I did some research on the internet for some outfit inspiration. In the Netherlands, we go for ‘scary‘, but over here, it’s more about wearing either sexy/hot costumes and/or dressing up as a character. (Have you seen Nicki Minaj or Miley Cyrus’ outfits?!? Oh my… 0_0). I’m not good with painting the face, so in the end I chose a practical and classy outfit, a Halloween la Formula Farah outfit! I was a dark angel with black angel wings, a beautiful black masque and dark lipstick. We took the pictures on the rooftop of the apartment at sunset with an amazing view of Manhattan. Picture perfect.

Have a lovely Monday (evening) lovelies! I’m leaving today already! So sad but all good things come to an end.. Hope to show you more pictures of New York very soon!
Love, Farah

Outfit || Shopping in SOHO NYC

november 1, 2013

H&M hat & jacket // dress // Pazzion bag // Mango belt // Hippeschoenen boots

Read everything about shopping in Soho after the jump!

Hi lovelies!
Let me start this one off by thanking you for all the sweet responses. I loved to share my story with you and it was great to see that you guys liked it as well!
It’s  my fourth day in New York already. Time is flying by so fast when you’re having fun! Yesterday, I spent the day walking around aaaaand shopping in Soho, the place for a shopping spree. Next to all the regular shops, you can find all kinds of boutiques and brands you’re searching for. It’s my favorite place to shop in New York! My boyfriend asked me what I liked to do on the second day of arrival and of course I was dying to shop! And this all resulted in: some good damage. The ones who follow me on Instagram must have seen the plaid suit I was wearing. One of yesterday’s purchases! An outfit post with all the details will follow soon!
Now concerning the outfit! What’s important for a day of shopping is you have to be comfortable in what you’re wearing, moreover it has to be easy. And with easy I mean that it has to be easy to take them off and put them back on again. ‘Cause that’s what you’re constantly doing when you’re trying on clothes in the fitting rooms. Last week, I got this lovely dress with beautiful details on the arms and the shoulders. Spiced it up with my beloved hat and I was good to go!
After a day of shopping my boyfriend (read: after a day of suffering for my boyfriend) came up with the idea of a so called ‘boyfriend zone’ in shops. A place made for the guys to relax while the girls are doing their thing. That sounded more than good to me!
Hope you enjoyed this second post from New York! Will get back to you soon!

Read all about how I surprised my boyfriend in New York City after the jump!

Hi lovelies!
I couldn’t wait to share my story with you! Last weekend, I told you about my boyfriend staying in New York (see the post here). At that moment, you all didn’t know what I was planning…neither did he.
One month ago, I thought about how crazy it would be to surprise him in New York. Once the idea was in my head, I really couldn’t get rid of it anymore. So for me, there was no way back. I made sure I made enough hours last month to get all the finances together, while my studies and blogging were going strong too. I just had to make sure that I’d save all the money I had to be able to travel to the Big Apple and to make this surprise the best surprise ever. I must say, I am quite the romantic person and the days up to the surprise, my mind was racing with all these ideas about the best ways to surprise him. My friends and family knew about the surprise and they were just as excited as I was! This is my third time in New York (I came to visit him the last two times too) and this time it’s all about spending time together and reminiscing about our last visits to this incredible city.
The trip didn’t go as smoothly as I hoped it would. It all began with the weather forecast last Sunday (I left last Monday morning). For those of you in the Netherlands, Belgium and the UK know what I am talking about. They predicted that one of the worst fall storms ever would hit the area. I was so scared that my flight would be cancelled! How awful would that be?! However, I kept my hopes up and stayed positive. In the end, my flight was delayed but everything went well and I arrived at JFK safe and sound. The next step was to get to my boyfriend’s place in Brooklyn! I contacted his roommates beforehand so they were the ones who let me in. And when my boyfriend finally saw me… the expression on his face… absolutely priceless. He was in shock, with a capital S! Completely frozen. So no jumping in the air or something, he just didn’t move! But as soon as it him that I was actually there, he was so intensely happy! His face, his smile, that happiness. It was so worth it!
My boyfriend’s place here in New York is so amazing. He lives with a few roommates and they have a huge apartment with a studio on the top floor. They also have an amazing rooftop with an even more incredible view of the Manhattan skyline (see my picture on instagram and/or facebook). So enough space for me as well hihi :).
Yesterday, we spent the day strolling around Central Park. I have seen Central Park during the winter and spring once before, but Central Park during the fall is STUNNING. It’s soooooo beautiful! I have never seen leafs with so many different and beautiful colors! It felt like a walk in fairyland. After a long walk, I couldn’t resist to get some of my all time favorite burger: a Shack Stack at the Shake Shack! If you haven’t had one yet, make sure you get one when you’re in New York!
I have seen all the important landmarks already the last two times I was in New York, so no pressure anymore this week! It’s going to be a week of doing whatever we feel like doing! My boyfriend’s music-life of course continues even though I’m here as he has a lot of responsibilities and appointments, which makes it perfect for me to share my stories and pictures with you!
Hope you enjoy the first outfit pictures shot here in New York and the whole storytelling that came with it! Make sure you follow me on instagram and facebook where I will share pictures with you daily! And let me know if you have also done something crazy for someone you love!

Uluwatu  Jumpsuit

Indonesia is a country that makes sure you look beautiful in its handmade creations. In Bali, I discovered and fell in love with a shop called Uluwatu, a Paradise of handmade Balinese lace. Actually, it’s fine art. The handmade details make their clothes sophisticated and very elegant. Two keywords I admire. This jumpsuit is borrowed from my bestie who bought it in Bali.  It looks even more beautiful on her! My bestie and I ended up borrowing each other’s clothes, since living out of a backpack for a few weeks wearing the same clothes over and over again gets so boring!!

Why didn’t I get something at Uluwatu too? Well, I actually fell in love with the most expensive piece in the shop. This white dress. Sometimes it’s just not possible.

Don’t hesitate to have a look at their beautiful pieces in their online shop, especially when you have a wedding or another party in the near future!

Love, Farah

Outfit || Prambanan

augustus 29, 2013
H&M kimono & jumpsuit

Traveling allows you to gaze. Gaze at the world’s treasures. It’s difficult to understand how people were able to build these kind of temples at that time with the materials and tools they had. But somehow they managed and these miracles make you gaze. These pictures were taken at the Prambanan temples (read more here) on Central Java.
In the evenings, you can enjoy the Ramayana Ballet with the Prambanan temples as it’s magnificent background. I have never had such a beautiful background while watching a ballet performance. This ballet is nothing like the ballet at the Amsterdam Stopera, the London Royal Opera House or the New York City Ballet. It’s a dance supported by a traditional gamelan orchestra, Javanese singing, with beautiful costumes and depicting an epic Hindu love story, the Ramayana.
Central Java is a must to visit when you’re in Indonesia one day. Yogyakarta, the city near to these beautiful temples, is the centre of classical Javanese fine art and culture such as ballet, batik,  music, drama, poetry, and puppet shows.
Back to my outfit. Kimonos are trending. This kimono is an oldie but definitely a goodie. The colors that flow into each other and the fabric make this kimono perfect to wear while traveling. It makes a simple outfit look beautiful, flowy and colorful. I combined it with my jumpsuit for that little extra touch ;). Oh, and the flip flops. Just the reality while traveling. No heels, no beautiful shoes. Backpackfashion it’s called 😉
Love, Farah

Outfit || Borobudur

augustus 27, 2013
  Indonesian topskirt

The journey in Indonesia led me to the most beautiful architecture, monuments, nature and places I have ever seen. One of these is the 9th-century Mahayana Buddhist temple Borobudur (read more about it here) in Magelang on the island of Java. Pictures cannot capture how impressive and beautiful this temple is. It really is not a surprise that the Borobudur is the most visited tourist attraction in Indonesia. You cannot miss this when you visit this country!
For me, I just had to shoot an outfit at this beautiful and mighty place. For this occasion, I decided to take on some traditional Indonesian clothing: batik (read more about it here). I bought this piece the day after I arrived in Jakarta. Like I already said before: I love to wear domestic clothes while traveling.

I will never forget about this place and the time I spent there. Memories as beautiful as the details on the batik.

Love, Farah

Outfit || Traditional Indonesian Maxi Skirt

augustus 12, 2013
Cotton topTraditional Indonesian maxi skirt

Hi lovelies!
It has already been a couple of weeks that I went on holiday and I just can’t believe how fast time is passing by. It has been wonderful. Travelling with my bestie, who is Indonesian and speaks the language, makes it all even more special. We stayed at local places and went to places we would never have visited if we were just following the standard ‘touristic route’.
So many impressions, so many things to discover. I don’t wanna go home. Travelling is so addictive and it makes you want to see the entire world. There is so much to discover, so much to see.
Travelling in Indonesia also made me want to wear traditional Indonesian clothing. The fabrics, the colors, the prints. It’s so beautiful. When I fell in love with this skirt I knew that I didn’t have a matchy top with me since I didn’t bring my entire closet with me in my backpack. That makes sense right? But it didn’t stop me from buying it.
So I found a top in Singapore. Very happy..untill I discovered I lost it. Shoot me. So I ended up at Singapore’s airport shopping where I found this colorful blouse. Read: at the last shop 30 minutes before the flight. In a rush. Yes it was that important to find a replacement of course:p
I knew it would fit perfectly and I think the combination turned out quite well even though I was wearing flip flops, since I don’t have heels haha!
These outfit pictures were taken in Sumatra, while staying at Lake Toba. The way to get there was my worst trip ever, since they ride like crazy over there. Taking over while it’s just a matter of seconds is like drinking water over here. But we arrived safely and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the people. We got offered a trip back by a private car which made the trip even more worth it since we got to see another route, dreaming while we watched the beautiful nature of Sumatra.
I hope you’ll enjoy this outfit and some storytelling about my trip!
Lots of love from Indonesia

Primark Dress – Havaianas Flip Flops

Hi guys!

My journey has been good so far. I already told you some about Singapore in my post here but I haven’t told you yet that we got the chance to sleep in a 5 star hotel, the Sheraton Hotel in Singapore. Thanks to a niece of my bestie we changed our 12 person dorm room into a hotel room with a pool (read: private since it was empty the whole time) and even room service. Kidding me?!? That’s not backpacking! can imagine that people were looking at us probably thinking that we were lost when we came in with our backpacks. I can imagine that looked silly though :p It was that good, that we even decided to stay just for one more day and night which meant that we had to change our flights. It was sooooo worth it! Next time I will definitely stay over at the Marina Bay Sands Hotel in Singapore. The ones who are following me on instagram (@Formulafarah) must have seen this awesome hotel which unfortunately is not really affordable. So, Singapore. I will visit you again when I’m NOT a student anymore and when I’m allowed to bring 60 kilos in my suitcases flying business class 😉 Ohhhh yes dear! For now, I just bought ehm..4 bags and 1 pair of shoes. That’s reasonable right?:)

The  real backpack journey will begin in Indonesia I guess 😉 Oh well, my flip flops say a lot too right?!  😛 Hope you like this comfy outfit I was wearing while strolling in Singapore. I was feeling a bit shabby because all the girls in Singapore looked like I want a woman to look like. With other words, all girls are wearing heels and dresses. Loooooooove that! Made me feel very underdressed though, cannot say I loved that as well haha!

P.S. these outfit pictures were taken at Garden by the Bay, a must visit when you’re in Singapore! It was just like I stepped into the movie Avatar.. need I say more?;)

Love, Farah

A woman, a strong woman, a powerful woman, that’s exactly how I felt wearing this outfit.
The feeling of being able to conquer the world. Life is not always about looking good and
being fashionable. Everyone has to deal with problems. If an outfit can help you with doing that,
that’s the best way to combine those two things. A reflection of how you feel and that’s how can
show your strength to the world. I wish everyone a happy monday and a successful week with reaching goals!

Outfit || Beach

juni 1, 2013

What to wear on the beach? Are you the type of person who doesn’t put much effort into it (read: make up is a no-go, your hair will be messy anyways and it’s only about tanning and not about looking good) or are you the type of person who makes a party out of going to the beach (read: Farah)? 😉 😀
In the end, it doesn’t matter how you look, it’s the atmosphere and being on a beach that make everybody beautiful. And of course, pretty clothes help a lot but that’s definitely not the key!
I’m not the biggest fan of accessories but when wearing a bikini, it’s the accessories that give a look an extra touch. A hat (that also protects you and I prefer not to tan the face ;)) and sunnies make you look devine! Especially this one, which I got from! On the beach it’s all about the details 😉

Love, Farah

P.S. If you like the sunnies, then stay tuned…something nice is coming up 😉

This crappy weather in the Netherlands makes me want to go back to Greece more than ever. It just doesn’t stop raining! I got totally soaked today – twice! I even felt sorry for myself, haha!
Seeing this dress makes me forget about this weather and makes me dream to get more of a tan (still pretty  white right ;)). Do you also agree on the fact that details make an outfit complete? In this case, I chose not to wear any accessories and to wear a ponytail with my hair straight. Something I actually had to, but I liked this hairdo with the dress. This dress is sexy yet elegant and definitely screaming: wear me on your night out and I’ll let you shine like a diamond ;)!
Have a lovely (hopefully not rainy) day!

On holidays, dresses are always allowed. Yes, even during daytime, when hanging out with your friends having lovely drinks in a little Greek village. This is another dress I got from a while ago (still availabe here!) and was finally able to wear it! It’s quite daring already and I gave it even more edge by wearing the new beautiful statement necklace and my favorite shoes at the moment! Don’t know how long that love will last though 😉 :p
Oh, have you noticed the letter F on the sides? This dress is just made for FormulaFarah! 😀

Do you have some nice plans for the weekend? I’m going to dance my feet off tonight! Tomorrow, I will visit the Goosecraft sample sale with the bf! I’m always on his side when he has to do some shopping. A personal stylist, you cannot blame him right 😉 😀

Love, Farah

Outfit || The Famous Skort

mei 16, 2013

The ones who are in the ‘bloghosphere‘ know what I’m talking about : that famous zara skort. The perfect combination of a skirt and a short. Did I think about not getting it because everybody has it? Yes, I did. But, why stop yourself just because it’s worn all around the world? See it in a positive way: a lot of people have a great sense of style and why not share it all together 😉 ? You can wear these skorts in many ways. This time I chose to wear it with my leather top with the same asymmetrical cut as the skorts. Matchy matchy! I love it.
